What are the basic components of the color masterbatch?

1. Pigments or dyes: pigments are divided into organic pigments and inorganic pigments

2. Carrier: is the matrix of the color masterbatch. Special master generally chooses the same resin as the product resin as the carrier, the compatibility of the two is better, but at the same time, we should also consider the fluidity of the carrier.

3. Dispersant: to promote the pigment evenly dispersed and no longer condensed, the melting point of dispersant should be lower than the resin, and the resin has good compatibility, and the pigment has a good affinity. Commonly used dispersants are: polyethylene low molecular wax, stearate.

4. Additives: such as flame retardant, brightening, antibacterial, antistatic, antioxidant and other varieties, unless customers request, under normal circumstances, the color masterbatch does not contain the above additives.
