PolyOne has started another acquisition in 2018, this time in Spain.
The company announced on January 2 that it has acquired IQAP Group, a privately owned manufacturer of specialty colorants and auxiliaries with customers throughout Europe.
According to PolyOne, IQAP was founded by Xavier Rovira in 1979 with annual sales of about 40 million euros.
IQAP's terminal markets include transportation, packaging, wire and cable, and textiles. IQAP owns two production sites and one technology laboratory in Spain and additional manufacturing capabilities in the Czech Republic.
In Bohemia in the southern Czech Republic, IQAP's facilities can produce 3,000 metric tons of masterbatches and auxiliaries each year.
